Accounting Manager

• RideNow Powersports is looking for a highly motivated Accounting Manager to enter the exciting world of Powersports! RideNow is the nation’s largest purveyor of good times! We carry a huge selection of UTVs, ATVs, Motorcycles, Personal Watercraft, and more. We are a team of riding enthusiasts that are passionate about our customers and the services we provide.

• Pay: $45,000-55,000 depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising, training, coaching, and supporting accounting staff.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary action & terminations of the Accounting Clerks.
• Direct contact person for the Controller
• Provides leadership and guidance to accounting staff.
• Audits Sales Tax, Tire Tax & Battery Tax reports, Resale certificates, cost of sale entries, payroll, and manual journal entries.
• Additional audits to include but are not limited to A/R, A/P, EOD, and GL to ensure accounting staff is following policies, procedures, and practices.
• Verify sales tax and tire tax returns are submitted in a timely manner by account clerks.
• Verify payroll deadlines are met.
• Process payroll for store accounting staff.
• Follow up on outstanding A/R cycle issues once the download has been e-mailed.
• Responsible for all month-end reports and reconciliations under the direct supervision of the Controller
• Recap assigned inter stores at month-end.
• Responsible for end of month (EOM) 6 a.m. / 7 a.m. process.
• Troubleshoot EVO out of balance issues and make appropriate corrections.
• Responsible for maintaining and distributing Monthly Closing schedules to accounting staff.
• Verify month-end deadlines are met by the Accounting Staff.
• Responsible for issuing stop payments.
• Responsible for funds transfer requests and wire transfer requests.
• Responsible for signing checks & auditing attached documents.
• Responsible for monthly accounting staff meetings.

Requirements

• Must submit to a background check and drug screening.
• Must have 2 years of Account Management Experience.
