Job Description:
As an Opening Shift Team Member at Wendy's, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our restaurant is ready to provide exceptional service to our customers from the moment we open. You will be responsible for preparing the restaurant for the day ahead, including setting up equipment, stocking supplies, and conducting opening procedures.
Shift Hours: 5:00am - 2:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the restaurant early in the morning to start preparing for the day ahead
- Perform opening procedures such as unlocking doors, turning on lights, and setting up equipment
- Stock supplies and ingredients for the day's menu items
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
- Take customer orders and prepare food in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining area and kitchen throughout the shift
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during the busy morning hours
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work early morning hours and start shifts as early as 5:00am
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
