We are seeking a Director of Business Development (A&D) to spearhead new client acquisition and revenue growth in the U.S. South region. This role is ideal for a proven hunter and strategic leader who thrives in a consultative sales environment, driving multimillion-dollar deals with C-suite executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts for A&D accounts, identifying and securing new clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth across IT managed services, ERP transformation, digital solutions, and engineering services.
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships (CEO, CFO, CIO, CDO) to position solutions aligned with business priorities.
- Manage full-cycle enterprise sales, from prospecting and solution development to contract negotiation and deal closure.
- Collaborate with presales, solutioning, and delivery teams to ensure successful client engagements.
- Represent the company in industry associations, advisory firm engagements, and competitive analysis.
What We’re Looking For:
- 20 years of experience in IT services sales, with at least 10 years in the U.S. market.
- A strong network within the Aerospace & Defense sector, with access to key decision-makers.
- A track record of exceeding client acquisition and revenue targets through large, strategic deals.
- Experience in working with third-party advisors (ISG, Avasant, McKinsey, etc.).
- Ability to navigate long and complex enterprise sales cycles (6-9 months).
- Deep understanding of the A&D manufacturing landscape and digital transformation trends.
- Willingness to travel regularly for client engagements.
