Wenham Carter search firm is hiring on behalf of an exciting mobility company that is scaling their electric vehicle battery manufacturing operations in the US and are hiring for a Senior Safety Engineer to be a key member of the start-up team who are launching the plant from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
- Maintain safety documentation, conduct PHAs, PSSRs, and address safety issues via local procedures.
- Oversee mechanical integrity inspections and ensure effective MOC processes.
- Investigate incidents, track performance metrics, and drive improvements.
- Build regulatory relationships, coordinate audits, and provide emergency preparedness support.
- Train employees and leadership on process safety standards.
