Duties:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting customer orders in a timely, professional, and safe manner. This role operates Monday through Friday, with start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Shifts typically last around 8 hours, but may vary depending on delivery volume, with opportunities for overtime.
Drivers begin their day at the warehouse, where they either take pre-loaded vans or assist with loading their orders. Deliveries are made directly to customer locations, where offloading assistance is often available. However, drivers must be prepared to safely unload product on their own when necessary. While most products are not extremely heavy, they can be awkward or bulky in shape and size, requiring physical capability and problem-solving.
Once all deliveries are completed, drivers return to the warehouse to assist with general tasks or may end their shift, depending on operational needs.
