We have immediate openings for Tasting Room hosts. Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including weekends.
POSITION SUMMARY: As the Host at The Vineyard Table and Tasting Lounge you are an important member of the team and are responsible for greeting and seating all restaurant guests and assisting with reservations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Greeting guests/Seating guests
- Project a professional manner with an emphasis on guest service and hospitality.
- Provides guests with information about the various experiences, areas and wine promotions.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of offerings and services.
- Ensures orderliness and safety guidelines at host stand and surrounding areas.
- Organizes special functions as directed by management.
- Ensures all necessary supplies are maintained properly with sufficient stock for day to day operations at host stand.
- Handles guest complaints and solve problem to the degree possible. Escalate to management within a timely manner.
- Ability to perform customer focused Wine Direct functions as well as Open Table functions.
- Assists in guest call backs, emails or personal notes to guests.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS: You will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, exhibit strong hospitality traits (eye contact, smiles, warm welcome). Must also be able to multitask in sometimes very busy and stressful situations.
