What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neurodiagnostic Tech 36 hours position at Wentworth-Douglass Physicians Organization (WDP)?
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic procedures related to the nervous system, such as EEGs, EMGs, and other neurodiagnostic tests, ensuring accuracy and quality of results for patient care.
- Perform electroencephalograms (EEGs), electromyograms (EMGs), and other neurodiagnostic tests in compliance with established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Analyze test results and provide initial interpretations to assist the healthcare team in diagnosing neurological conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
- Stay current with the latest neurodiagnostic technologies and best practices.
Qualifications :
The ability to conduct routine and sleep deprived EEGs, as well as long-term monitoring, both at the bedside and in the lab, for patients of all ages
2 yrs of intraoperative EEG and Evoked Potential monitoring where data is analyzed by the technologist results given to the physician so any corrective actions may be taken.
A completion of accredited course in EEG technology w / in 18 months of hire.
A Course in intraoperative EEG and Evoked Potential monitoring.

CPR within 3 MOS, REEGT, RPSGT
