Open Position: Temporary Maintenance Tech
Schedule: 40hrs per week, Flexible Schedule - some nights and weekends required
Rate: $20/hr
Location: Portsmouth, NH - WSL is located steps from Portsmouth's Market Square and Prescott Park, behind the Strawbery Banke Museum

As a Custodian at Wentworth Senior Living, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positivity when interacting with team members and residents to promote a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, including buffers, extractors, high-pressure washers, high-speed buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees, to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, and other designated areas.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, snow removal, lawn and grounds care, room turnovers, terminal cleans, and other light repairs as assigned.
- Complete daily work orders and ensure upkeep of all designated areas.
- Carry out housekeeping duties as assigned to ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
- Use mechanized cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals according to OSHA guidelines. Store chemicals properly and recycle waste in compliance with established protocols.
Experience:
- Custodial and or housekeeping experience is preferred. However, we are also willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements for the Custodian role consist of:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Drivers License
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
