Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial individual to launch and operate a unique café within our office building. This role will involve building the concept from the ground up, including creating a compelling business plan, designing the menu, and establishing a dedicated customer base among tenants and visitors. Additionally, the ideal candidate will play a key role in planning and executing events that foster a sense of community within the building. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of café or restaurant operations, event planning, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Business Planning and Strategy
- Develop a comprehensive business plan covering concept, target market, revenue projections, and marketing strategies.
- Set budgets, pricing structures, and financial goals to ensure profitability.
- Establish a brand identity and positioning aligned with the professional atmosphere of the office building.
- Coordinate licensing, permits, and compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
- Hire, train, and manage a team to deliver top-notch service and maintain the café’s standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and overall ambiance to create an inviting environment.
Event Planning and Community Engagement
- Organize and host events, such as tastings, themed dining experiences, or tenant appreciation activities, to foster community within the building.
- Collaborate with tenants and management to coordinate events that align with the building’s culture and needs.
- Develop promotional campaigns for events to maximize participation and engagement.
Customer Engagement & Marketing
- Build relationships with tenants and foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
- Implement marketing strategies, including social media and building-specific promotions, to drive foot traffic and brand loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the food, beverage, or hospitality industry, ideally in café or restaurant management.
