Werco Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and finishing components that meet the exacting standards of our aerospace, defense, and commercial clients. Working in our advanced facility, you will collaborate with engineers, quality assurance teams, and fellow craftspeople to transform raw materials into precision products. If you have a passion for hands-on work, an eye for detail, and a commitment to quality, we want you on our team.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate parts and assemblies.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure adherence to tolerances and quality standards.
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products, ensuring alignment with design requirements and customer specifications.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or a similar role (aerospace or defense experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Hands-on experience with fabrication tools and equipment, including welding, cutting, and forming machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Basic computer skills for documenting work and using production software.
- Knowledge of aerospace or defense manufacturing standards.
- Experience with CNC machining or advanced fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
