Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key categories, including electrical wires, cables, printed circuit boards, sensors and motors.
- Perform spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and consolidate suppliers.
- Benchmark industry trends to align sourcing strategies with market dynamics.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and innovation capabilities.
- Establish long-term partnerships with suppliers to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive supplier performance through KPIs and regular business reviews.
- Lead complex negotiations to secure competitive pricing, payment terms, and service levels.
- Develop and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with quality and regulatory teams to maintain high standards of supplier quality and documentation.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and product development teams to align sourcing decisions with product lifecycle goals.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by sourcing innovative materials and components.
- Work closely with finance to manage budgets and report on cost-saving initiatives.
- Implement best practices in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Leverage digital tools and analytics to improve visibility and decision-making in sourcing activities.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience for the position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) preferred.
- 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or related regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of global supply chain dynamics and sourcing strategies.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiations, cost reduction, and contract management.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- An action-oriented individual, acting as an agent of change.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally. Ability to influence through effective communication and presentation skills and persuasive positioning.
