Position Summary
Responsible for defining and implementing marketing strategies and collateral for the North America PBM product portfolio to include ROTEM, VerifyNow and Hemochron Signature Elite analyzers. Assist Sales Consultants with training and positioning the PBM product portfolio both financially and clinically. Management of the dedicated product line to include forecasting, labeling, product performance, etc., through complete product life. Collate customer data to assist in product development and launch of new innovations. Gain understanding of competitive offerings in this marketplace and develop sales collateral/training material to successfully position the Werfen PBM portfolio. Develop relationship with physicians and Key Opinion Leaders on national level and conduct an annual PBM Advisory Council Meeting.

Essential Functions
For United States Region:
- Responsible for achievement of instrument and P&E goals as outlined in annual commissions plan
- Serve as key marketing interface for assigned portfolio in US territory with R&D, Operations and QA/RA
- Prepares and coordinates marketing support programs. Contributes to planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials.
- Writes technical bulletins and newsletters related to Patient Blood Management.
- Keeps informed about developments in medical instrumentation/diagnostic industry as they apply to the company's future marketing plans
- Provides sales technical training for sales staff. Works with field sales staff to develop training requirements and sales tools required to introduce new products and sales campaigns for all or part of product line. Imperative that material can be translated in a message that can be understood and presented by the sales team.
- Understands all maintenance, performance and advantages of Werfen PBM products
- Understands technical aspects of Werfen PBM and competitive PBM products
- Maintains regular communications with technical services on problems with instruments and reagents within the product line
- Evaluates PBM testing workflows and assists with creating a standardized, account specific PBM approach
- Manages and drives internal projects with minimal supervision
- Build long term strategic partnerships with IHNs to position clinical value
- Performs product demonstrations and clinical presentations for customers.
- Participates in seminars, workshops and convention exhibit activities as requested by Management
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
Education
- Bachelor's degree Science, Medical Technology, Nursing or related scientific discipline or degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent required
- Minimum of five years related experience in Patient Blood Management (clinical or sales) required
- Experience working with/calling on Lab, CVOR or other clinical areas associated with blood management
- Language: Fluency in English required.
