Quality Control Analyst II
Responsibilities
The QC Analyst II performs general testing, maintenance, and inspections within the QC Laboratory and has additional responsibilities to ensure a quality product.
Key Accountabilities
- Adheres to SOPs, Regulatory and Compliance (ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 Requirements)
- Performs acceptance testing of raw and in-process materials
- Performs final product evaluations
- Performs stability testing on products and components
- Identifies, initiates, and assists with OOS investigations
- Participates in validation studies
- Supports Core Team projects and deliverables
- Trains new employees or co-workers
- Reviews and updates applicable SOPs, FORs, and TMPs
- Performs general laboratory cleaning and maintenance
- Monitors and responds to room/equipment temperature excursions/alarms, this requires on-call after work hour responses
Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
- Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology, or Bachelor of Science in a related field, or Associate Degree in Medical Technology with equivalent combination of education or experience.
- MLT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform manual testing with required pipetting skills
- Ability to identify instrument malfunctions
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, percentages, and ratios
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions
