Summary
Weris, Inc., a government contracting and consulting company, is looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Clerical Support Specialist to join our team! If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a strong background in administrative and clerical support within Federal Government offices, then we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly with minimal supervision.
This position will be fully onsite 5 days/week in Atlanta, Georgia.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide comprehensive administrative, clerical, and office support for Government teams, events, or individuals.
- Draft, review, and process correspondence using various software tools and hard copy methods.
- Apply Federal Government office policies, processes, and procedures effectively.
- Work independently and manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support office front desk operations, including visitor management and communication handling.
- Adapt quickly to shifting deadlines, priorities, and evolving processes. actionable insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- At least four years of experience in administrative or clerical support without day-to-day supervision.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, SharePoint).
- Strong proficiency with virtual scheduling and conferencing tools (MS Teams, Zoom, PolyCom VTC).
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Familiarity with the Government Style Manual, GPO, for official correspondence is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
