Who You Are
We are currently seeking a Key Account Representative to join our team. This position will play a key role in driving the sales and growth of Molson Coors brands within a designated area in Connecticut. The Key Account Representative position is a first step to a challenging and rewarding career in the beverage industry. What You'll Do
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and wholesalers.
- Collaborate with distributor sales teams to maximize brand growth, market share, and distribution.
- Achieve specific volume objectives through effective sales strategies.
- Maintaining call frequency to all accounts, ensuring maximum sales and distribution of brands.
- Work in collaboration with distributor and brand personnel in coordinating efforts to execute sales and marketing plans.
- Attend and complete all necessary training requirements for the role
- Identify opportunities for brand growth within the assigned territory.
- Focus on increasing market share and distribution of Molson Coors brands.
- Installation of revamped beverage sections, displays, and placement of POS material in accordance with company merchandising standards.
- Stock and merchandise Molson Coors brands in allocated beverage sections, including racks and secondary displays.
- Build relationships with account personnel and managers to recommend merchandising opportunities.
- Maintaining all account displays, point of sale materials and marketing materials in accordance with brand program and company guidelines.
- Ensuring products on shelf and in coolers are properly rotated to avoid expiration.
- Execute cooler resets and rearrangement of product as requested.
- Provide tracking information promptly to ensure transparent communication and effective performance monitoring.
- Ensure the execution and activation of brand programs, community initiatives, and brand-building activities within the territory.
- Execute on-site sales promotions and activations to enhance brand visibility.
- Manage efficient travel within the designated territory, supported by a car allowance.
- Receive a cell phone and internet allowance to facilitate seamless communication and connectivity.
What You Bring
- Degree preferred but not mandatory if experienced.
- Valid Driver's License/Car.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Capacity to bend and lift heavy objects on a regular basis.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of retail sales experience.
- Experience in merchandising.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking
