Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Logistics Coordinator at WERNER AIR FREIGHT in Nashville, TN, with flexibility for some remote work.

You can work full time remote anywhere in the USA or World)

We are focusing on Ground and Air Shipments throughout the USA, Mexico & Canada

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for :

  • Coordinating Shipments with Customers
  • Brokering Freight to outside carriers
  • Tracking shipments & Trucks
  • Posting and Sending Shipments
  • Problem Solving
  • Onboarding Carriers
  • Handle work flow related to Dispatching

    • 35-100,000 Draw Commission

    BASED ON Book of business & Experience)

    Qualifications-

  • Has Current Customer Book (Will be given first look)
  • 1-2 Years as a dispatcher
  • Book and coordinate own shipments with drivers
  • Solicit Additional Customers
  • Positive & Growth Mindset
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities- This is a Must
  • Proficiency in logistics software, DAT, Internet Truckstop
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and supply chain management principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
  • Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is a must
