Provides excellent customer service to consumers and corporate clients. Responsible for assisting in the supervision and maintenance of efficient operations, accounting processes, employee relations and customer satisfaction within the department within bank operating objectives and regulatory requirements.

Essential Function

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank’s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains a strong awareness of customer needs, product performance, and the competitive landscape to manage current and ongoing services.

Monitors and works to resolve client concerns while ensuring service delivery standards are handled in a professional and effective manner.

Oversees due diligence documentation and set up for new business and ongoing risk monitoring for business clients which may also require site visits.

Prepares customer proposals for review and approval.

Maintains client visit schedule and completing ongoing monitoring for all.

Ensures adherence to operating procedures, regulatory compliance, and information security standards.

Develops and maintains client product training.

Provides assistance to account holders, finance companies by responding to inquiries by phone or mail, processing stop payments, distributing funds as requested.

Completes monthly billing calculation and process for clients.

Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Computer Skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access. Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel necessary.

Ability to understand and utilize banking industry technology.

Other Skills & Abilities

Strong managerial, leadership, strategic planning and decision making skills.

Strong analytical and interpretive skills as well as sound judgment and discretion.

Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills – must include proficiency in procedure writing and customer communication.

Strong awareness of risk management practices.

Knowledge of financial products and services.

Intermediate accounting skills to ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer and bank data.

Extended hours may be required.

Travel will be required to call on new accounts or potential customers, i.e. finance companies, etc. Travel may be within or outside of the market.

On-call as needed to resolve problems, issues.

Critical thinker with a process orientation that results in the ability to review and recommend solutions to complex problems requiring solid judgment and frequent on the spot decision making.

Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2 years of relevant experience in banking and/or at least 5 years of relevant experience in banking or project management or equivalent combination or both.
