This position will be 100% in-office. Consideration for location will be the Spring Street office in New Albany, IN.

Perform various operational support duties relating to the WesBanco debit card, Reg E and other card related functions. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports; performs account reconciliation duties; provides assistance via telephone or email in response to customer or banking center inquiry; processes data entry information through various task related electronic systems; and performs other clerical duties as assigned.

Essential Function

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned training in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides customer service via phone, mail, and email.

Works in queue based environment and handles the tasks as received.

Reviews and processes debit card requests, maintenance, research, and customer or banking center initiated requests through various payment processing systems.

Performs transactions within associated compliance and Reg E requirements.

Ability to analyze transactional risk and reasonableness in accordance with bank guidelines.

May from time to time be assigned other job duties and or responsibilities with or without prior notice.

Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers or employees in writing, in person, or via telephone.

Must have professional demeanor in interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude. Ability to handle workload pressure and deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Computer Skills

Ability to use a personal computer with knowledge/ability to learn Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel and internet. Ability to learn electronic banking systems.

Ability to type with speed and accuracy.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Capacity to understand reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from other employees, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and volume. Ability to complete basic bookkeeping functions.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education And/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Customer Service and related clerical experience desired.

Minimum of one year of experience in an electronic banking and or deposit operations department preferred.
