This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely).

Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist will review commercial loan documentation to ensure quality of the loan package and to identify any deficiencies that would negatively impact the bank. This includes the review of all pre-closing support documentation and post-closing loan documentation. This position requires an understanding of policies and procedures as they relate to the commercial lending function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs a post-closing review of documentation for all Business Banking and Corporate Banking loan packages to identify any deficiencies and track findings in commercial lending system.
Analyzes, reviews and clears deficiencies found in initial review of loan packages and change in terms/modification packages.
Reviews post-closing Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) search, Title Insurance and Attorney Title Opinions to ensure bank's lien position.
Inputs information into commercial lending system for boarding of loans into core banking system.
Completes second review of loan modification documents to identify any documentation deficiencies and ensures they were prepared as approved before providing to borrower for signing. Sends back to lender or internal departments for corrections if deficiencies are found.
Checks finalized loan documents in imaging system to ensure all documents for loans and modifications are received, and reviews exception documents for accuracy. Communicates with lender and support staff for updates if corrections are needed.

Ability to understand the components of a loan transaction including Interest Rate, Term and structure.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Effective organizational skills with attention to detail and promptness.
Must be willing to work as part of a team.

Ability to work under pressure to achieve set timelines.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of or ability to learn systems and procedures used in making and servicing all types of business loans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
