- Essential Responsibilities :
- Provides direct care per department policies, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Reports resident condition changes to nurse supervisor / manager and physicians.
- Documents symptoms and changes in resident condition.
- Assists physicians during rounds, procedures, and exams; transcribes and implements physician orders.
- Demonstrates knowledge, accuracy, skill, judgment, and respect when caring for residents and communicating with families, visitors, and physicians.
- Implements emergency procedures for CPR, fire, disaster plans, and elopement prevention.
- Provides direction to nurse aides and trains new LPNs / Med Techs.
- Maintains a cooperative and respectful working relationship with co-workers.
- Demonstrates effective time management, positivity, and flexibility.
- Assists with clerical tasks, survey preparation, and audit completion.
