Essential Responsibilities:
- Mow and string trim assigned areas.
- Trim and maintain plants, shrubs, and trees in assigned areas.
- Keep assigned areas free and clear of garbage, debris, and safety hazards.
- Installs landscape plantings as directed.
- Operates various handheld equipment such as string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, lawn edgers, sidewalk edgers, chainsaws, and pruners.
- Operates and maintains equipment such as push mowers, riding mowers, skid steers, and tractors.
- Drives pickup trucks, dump trucks, passenger vehicles and occasionally vans, lifts or non-CDL buses.
- Maintains ground care equipment, as well as trucks and tractors.
- Assists with external resident moves.
- Assists with resident patio furniture storage, rummage sales, picnics, external set-ups, and teardowns.
- Transfers/ moves medical, accounting, and human resource records to off campus storage.
- Stores rummage items, books, and donated items for resale.
- Assists maintenance with villa turnover preparation.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School graduate with lawn care and/or landscape experience preferred.
- Able to lift up to 100lbs. Valid PA driver's license.
- Ability to run, operate, and maintain all types of lawn care equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to complete work without direct supervision.
