Job Summary:
Wesbury is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to support our College Way Nurse Manager during the 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shift. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth clinical operations in the evening hours, with a focus on resident transitions, including admissions and discharges, as well as overall resident care and support.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the College Way Nurse Manager to support unit operations and staff needs during the evening shift.
- Coordinate and manage resident admissions and discharges, ensuring accuracy in documentation and continuity of care.
- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for evening shift staff, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to support resident-centered care.
- Respond to emergent situations, evaluate resident needs, and initiate appropriate interventions.
Requirements:
- Completion of state approved Registered Nurse Program with a current PA nursing license and basic CPR Certification.
- BSN and/or previous experience in hospital or nursing home setting preferred but not required.
- Sense of responsibility, moral integrity, and common sense. Sincere desire to work with elderly with patience and compassion.
- Be able to perform the physical requirements of the position including ability to lift, turn and reposition residents both alone and with assistance with and without the use of mechanical devices.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to Wesbury's personnel policies and practices.
