Description:
Candidate must have strong customer service skills, leadership, team building qualities, and the desire to advance to the position of Store Manager in the future. They must also be self-motivated, conscientious, reliable, outgoing, able to lead by example and willing to take initiative. Experience with store operations is ideal. Candidate must also possess the ability to work effectively with others and work evening and weekend hours.
- Leads by example for all Associates by providing excellent customer service and hospitality.
- Leads and oversees the growth of all Associates through being the champion for onboarding, training, JP&R, and store meetings.
- Ensures that Associates have received raises that they are eligible for through training, certifications, and performance reviews.
- Remains current on all programs, processes, guidelines, and policies and communicates any changes to the team.
- Focuses on all of the “Dot” programs and champions the implementation of each at the location.
- Completes any paperwork and tracking as needed to assist Manager in their job duties.
- Has working knowledge of all tools and programs needed to complete job duties.
- Uses Wesco’s Unifying Principles, Mission Statement, Strategy Map, and Q-PPAS to guide their actions.
Requirements:
- Minimum Average Hours: 35 per week
- Minimum Shifts Expected to Work: All shifts based on business need (we are open 24/7, 365)
- 2 – night shifts 1 – mid-day shift 1 – shift with manager
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work in extreme cold and heat
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to work nights, holidays, and weekends when needed
