The New Setup Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership and administrative support to the New Setup Team. Ensures the department exceeds both internal and external customers' expectations by efficiently scheduling production to meet committed promise dates.

What Will You Do?
The New Setup Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership and administrative support to the New Setup Team. Ensures the department exceeds both internal and external customers' expectations by efficiently scheduling production to meet committed promise dates.

- Organize, schedule and complete work orders for up to 8 NSU Technicians and 1 prep specialist, using the ServiceMax dispatch console.
- Coordinate with the Commercial Services and sales leadership team as needed on both internal and external customer needs
- Communicate daily/weekly productivity, backlog, irregularities, communication, and recognition opportunities to the DFB Service Leader.
- Monitor and present team specific KPI’s, what’s working, what’s not working and trends at monthly service staff meetings. Review of previous months workload volume, warranty claim data, backlog, and forecast for following months business
- Partner with leadership team in productivity level planning, discuss strengths and opportunities
- Participate in personal and team development, annual review process and process improvement
- Maintain Individual development plans for each technician to include a strengths and weakness assessment, Individual training plans and a team Personal Performance Assessment grid for the team.
- Schedule and follow up on all training requirements for the technician staff, to include testing, webinars, internal/vendor provided certification and training
- Coordinate and maintain weekly and bi-weekly “build schedules” through cohesive conversations reflecting sales priority, service capacity and the proper technician skill set.
- Schedule all service work through Service-Max, consistently monitoring status and the capacity of the department, available technicians and to the needs of the customers
- Attend weekly production meetings to establish clear expectations including the current weeks performance, roadblocks and to “lock in” the next two weeks schedules.
- Coordinate with the team on progress of set up, determine if completion times are meeting expectations
- Process the transfer of parts requested by team technicians for the timely completion of equipment.
- Add jobs as needed to the repair order for warranty issues identified during set up process.
- Prepare warranty portion of all new set ups and coordinate with the warranty administrator for submission in a timely manner
- Service as primary contact to vendors and sales when issues arise to include submission and follow-through of TAC cases.
- Advise Sales Administrator of any changes that would affect commitments that have been made for promise date.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to understand FRFT percentage, identify technician training opportunities and evaluate current quality trends.
- Ensure the team is filling out the electronic COQ cards for factory-based feedback
- Prepare monthly quality reports to be submitted to Senior leadership and possibly to vendors.
- Prepare for and attend monthly TAC calls, ensure to follow up on cases with vendors weekly until a resolution is identified.
- Coordinate vendor warranty claims process with Warranty Administrator.
- Coordinate with the Warranty Administrator on the return of defective parts through the RGA issuing process, track the return, and send to vendor for reimbursement

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Minimum High school and training at vocational, technical trade school or training seminars in the Commercial Turf Industry
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a related field
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred
- Must be well organized and able to create a daily/weekly plan based on overall workload
- Requires excellent documentation practice
- Requires strong leadership skills with good administrative skills
- Must have the ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manuals
- Requires an advanced mechanical background with the ability to assess situations and respond in the customers’ best interest
- Requires the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner to all customers as well as fellow employees
