As the Manager - Master Data Governance, you will be responsible for coordinating data cleansing, enrichment, and related activities of staff. You will effectively engage in business systems, computer operations, computer systems, computer programming, and company's network to assure effective computer resources are provided to users.Responsibilities : Plans the realization of specific business outcomes through the collection and curation of Product data (both mastered and unmastered)Designs and implements product data architectural changes to meet changing business requirementsWorks with internal business teams to understand their needs for product data, as input into the overall Product data roadmapSeeks out opportunities to create new entities and attributes within the data to extend the capabilities of our Product dataTracks and measures the creation of value for the enterprise through the accomplishment of objectives within the Product data roadmapManages, evaluates and develops staff and provides coaching and developmental opportunitiesAnalyzes transactions, response times, and develops solutions for improved operating procedures, processing methods, and efficiencyDirects training in operation of information equipment and testing of revised programs and proceduresResponsible for oversight of evaluating, developing, and maintaining master data systemsIdentifies system needs and directs composition of new and revised program instructions and observes operational effectsProvides guidance to assist in locating and overcoming error conditions and notifies personnel of cause of errorPrepares or reviews records and reports of production, operating, and down timeRecommends changes in programs, routines, and quality control standardsMeets with product owners, department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problemsDevelops computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recoveryPresents recommendations to management relating to purchasing and installing hardware, software, and telecommunication equipmentQualifications : Bachelors Degree – Information Technology, Business or equivalent experience required; Masters Degree preferred5 years of experience in data processing, system analysis design, and operations experience3 years of experience working with Informatica MDM and Data solutions1 years Management or Supervisory experience5 years of Leadership presence with the ability to formulate and communicate clear vision preferredSolid analytical skills - able to solve problems & interpret instructions in any formCommunication – ability to pass messages using different channels (verbal and written)Strong analytical and interpersonal skillsFacilitating – ability to organize and facilitate multidisciplinary teams through Project (large or small)Change management – ability to communicate a need for change, create all necessary conditions for successful change and overcome different form s of resistanceCoaching – ability to coach people to develop their skills and abilities to achieve agreed upon objectivesTraining – ability to identify and formulate training needs and assure training execution and follow upAbility to travel up to 25%Wesco International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Wesco”) provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
