What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician - Data Center position at Wesco?
As the Technician - Data Center, you will be responsible for effectively performing assigned tasks in a data center, including general datacenter, servers and network devices setup, maintenance and troubleshooting. You will be accountable for setup and operational functions, assembly, equipment operation, general maintenance and housekeeping at assigned project locations.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for monitoring the real-time security operation of overseas IDCs (including personnel, assets, etc.) and responding to security incidents in real time, and coordinating and following up on incident handling to ensure the stable, safe and efficient operation of overseas data centers;
Responsible for the construction of the IDC security operation management system framework, formulating and optimizing operation management standard processes, and improving the standardized operation level of global data centers;
Responsible for the construction of the management system for IDC alarms, events, risks, drills, etc., and evolve towards automation and intelligence through data-driven execution;
Assist in optimizing the security operation management platform and build an automated tool for centralized and refined management of global IDC.
Qualifications :
Bachelor degree or above, computer / electronics related major is preferred;
More than 2 years of relevant work experience, with experience in operation and management of large-scale security service projects;
Be familiar with the emergency response process for security incidents, be able to track, analyze, process and resolve various security issues and incidents, and understand relevant security standards, specifications and security systems;
Those with backgrounds in the security industry and large security service companies are preferred;
Bilingual in Chinese / English as a working language is a must.

Working Environment : Warehouse – Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally, well ventilated and well lighted. Work is physically strenuous, and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds.
Work may require excessive bending or stooping.
