A Day in The Life of an Industrial Field Service Technician

As an Industrial Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site services to support process and manufacturing operations. You will identify and evaluate a customer’s installed base of equipment and service it.

Follow service and repair procedure log
Enter rental and repair orders in distribution system
Expedite orders and follow up with customers relating to service orders
Conduct in-house or on-site DOP testing
Conduct respiratory fit testing service either in-house or at customer’s site

Education & Experience

Associates degree required
2 years required; 3 years preferred working in an industrial manufacturing environment
2 years required; 3 years preferred exposure to industrial control systems

Skills & Requirements

Ability to work independently
Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Hands on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Compensation Details $27.70 - $36.01 Per Hour

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package. In addition, Wesco offers a full range of benefits such as paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement savings plans for eligible employees.
