Overview :
The Project Engineer provides the company with broad based support to help achieve operational goals.
Description
- Provide day to day administrative support to the construction project management team
- Prepare & send out subcontracts, purchase orders & change orders for project management to review
- Follow-up with subcontractors in relation to estimates, scheduling, questions
- Assist with account reconciliations as needed
- Schedule bidder’s meetings, proposal meetings and owner’s meetings as needed
- Manage and update customer binders and website portal for customers
- Update internal job cost binders as needed
- Place orders for jobs and office when necessary
- Assist management with coordinating subcontractor site meetings and work
- Assist management with filing for permits and licenses
- Assist with managing field staff schedule and distributing on a weekly basis
- Help establish & organize other specialty projects such as company tool inventory, documents for annual subcontractor meeting, client / subcontractor gifts, etc.
- Manage and distribute project documents such as agendas, meeting minutes, punch lists, and schedules
- Provide document control which includes but is not limited to making sure all documentation is up to date, filed and archived as needed, and organized properly in the correct systems such as Dropbox, Red Team, etc.
- Assist with project close out and create hand off binders including manuals, warranties and all pertinent project documents for owners
- Manage subcontractor certificates of insurance and W-9 database
- Assist accounting department with weekly lien waivers
- Perform general office duties such as filing of documents, copying, scanning, follow-up with customers, vendors and subcontractors when required, help manage voicemail boxes
