About The Position
We Ship Express is seeking a full-time Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position will work in our warehouse and drive a cargo van when needed as a backup for our regular driver.
You must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. When not driving, you will work in the warehouse unloading packages, loading packages, and preparing loaded pallets for transportation. We would prefer candidates have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train the right person.

About The Position

- Load and organize product inventory from the customer into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day.
- Follow scheduled route for daily pickup
- Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy
- Complete daily before, during, and after truck inspection to ensure it remains in good operational condition
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Performs quality inspections on outgoing shipments
- Picks, packs, and handles materials for orders
- Processes all packages for shipments to include packaging, labeling, stacking, and palletizing
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment
- Participates in quality improvement processes
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Valid drivers license
- A clean driving record with no moving violations in the past five years
- Proficient at driving and parking cargo vans
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shift
- Dependable
- Experience using hand pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and forklift is a plus
- Experience driving in New York City is a plus
- Continually required to stand
