About the Role

This position requires a skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Positioning and preparing patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed. \
- Performing procedures and assessing patients throughout and responding to their needs as appropriate. \
- Completing appropriate documentation for each study performed. \
- Operating radiation-producing equipment and applying radiation-protection techniques to take radiographs in various environments. \
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. \

Required Skills and Qualifications\

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). \
- Advanced CT registry certification. \
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts within 90 days of hire. \
- Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR. \
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. \
- One year of experience in an imaging department preferred. \
