The Hospice Registered
Nurse (RN) works within the scope of nursing practice to administer nursing
care according to the plan of care to Hospice patients in their homes or
other place of residence. The Hospice RN is responsible for providing quality,
cost effective hospice nursing care, within an interdisciplinary team, in a
competent and compassionate manner for an assigned group of patients, through
assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care; to empower
patients and families to achieve maximum levels of comfort and independence. Provide
care and support to patients and families during times of crisis and end of
life.
What you’ll need
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to understand and communicate in the English language
