Job Description:
As an Electric Industrial Vehicle Assembler In-Training, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn the assembly process of electric-powered industrial vehicles. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for mechanics, electrical systems, and sustainable technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in assembling, wiring, and testing components and complete electric industrial vehicles as well as other material handling products.
- Read and follow work instructions.
- Learn to install mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble vehicle parts.
- Participate in quality control checks to ensure high standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors for continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or vocational education.
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to read assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- No previous experience in assembly or manufacturing required
- Mechanical aptitude would be a plus.
