Resigstered Nurse (PRN) (Memory Care)

Wesley Manor Retirement Community is hiring for a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Living Resigistered Nurse to join our dedicated team. This Resgistered Nurse position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life.

Position Summary:

The Senior Living Skilled Nursing Resigestered Nurse, is responsible for overseeing the nursing care provided to our residents. This position will help to ensure that all care plans are implemented effectively and that the highest standards of care are maintained. This position will involve assessing residents' needs, coordinating care services, administering medications, and providing guidance and support to the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of nurses and caregivers, providing guidance and support
• Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, and promptly address any changes or concerns
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Provide education and support to residents and their families
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in a senior living or long-term care setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in senior care
• Attention to detail and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Willingness to collaborate and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
