What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide position at Wesley Towers Retirement Community?
Wesley Towers is a vibrant senior community located in a quiet neighborhood in northwest Hutchinson, KS. We’re looking for a
- to transport healthcare residents to and from appointments and activities while providing personal care and service to residents to ensure their safety, comfort and well-being. When not required to provide transportation, the CNA will carry out CNA duties within the facility. The ideal candidates for our Driver CNA position are certified in Kansas, have a Kansas driver's license with a good record, have a strong ability to work with a team and in-depth knowledge of the senior care industry.
- Responsibilities for Certified Nurse Aide Driver :
- Carry out assigned transportation of residents on time, safely, according to instructions, and with attention to the residents needs and the healthcare provider’s procedures.
- Check appointment schedules and assignments daily with the transportation manager.
- Treat all residents with dignity and respect and ensure the resident's rights are maintained at all times.
- Operate a Wesley Towers vehicle to transport residents to and from various locations, including other cities within a reasonable distance.
- Qualifications :
- Must have current Kansas CNA certification.
- Must have a current Kansas driver’s license and a driving record in accordance with the requirements of the Wesley Towers liability insurance.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Pay : $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
