If you have a passion for blending contemporary and traditional music in an intergenerational worship format, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead our congregation in worship through music, incorporating both contemporary and traditional styles.
- Select and arrange worship songs that resonate with our intergenerational community, creating an atmosphere of reverence and celebration.
- Collaborate with our pianist and worship team to enhance the worship experience.
- Engage and encourage participation from all generations, promoting a sense of unity and inclusion.
- Cultivate a deep and authentic worship environment, allowing individuals to connect with God through music and prayer.
- Foster an atmosphere of creativity, exploring new ways to blend contemporary and traditional elements within our worship services.
Qualifications:
- Proficient musician with a strong vocal ability and instrumental skills.
- Deep understanding and appreciation for intergenerational worship, recognizing the diverse needs and preferences of our congregation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of musicians, vocalists, and worship leaders.
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead and engage the congregation during worship services.
- Passion for creating an atmosphere of worship that brings individuals closer to God.
