Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM- with nights and weekend availability for tours

Summary:
The Senior Living Counselor is responsible for executing sales initiatives designed to bring prospective residents to Wesley Willows. The senior living counselor will meet sales goals by building relationships with prospective residents. They will also understand their interests and needs through one-on-one counseling and communicating the benefits of our continuing care retirement community. With a team selling environment in place, the Senior Living Counselor will work closely with other SLCs to assure the best outcome for each potential resident and Wesley Willows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond and follow up with all prospective residents through telephone calls, letters and personal appointments, relating information to them and their families about Wesley Willows.
- Schedule, organize and conduct tours with prospective residents, families and referral sources.
- Communicate the benefits of Wesley Willows as a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) and counsel prospective residents and their families on appropriate lifestyles and amenities.
- Coordinate the process of cultivating and qualifying prospective residents.
- Make presentations to senior groups, church groups, and other identified outreach in the community as needed.
- Work with prospective residents to complete the application process.
- Coordinate and communicate with other team members to assure a smooth transition during the move-in process including: other sales and marketing staff, maintenance, nursing services, resident life, housekeeping, etc.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM database to track prospect information and referral source data used in planning future marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Work with minimal supervision in order to meet all expectations of meaningful contact: telephone calls, appointments set, appointments held, apartment and home sales.
- Completes all other special assignments as required by the Director of Marketing.

Minimum Education/Skills/Experience/Credentials:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Two years of sales or case management experience with a preference being given to service industries.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for 4-5 hours during an 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to stand and walk for 2-4 hours during an 8 hours shift.
- Must be able to frequently lift 10 to 25 pounds while walking or bending at the waist and knees.
- Must be able to use wrists, fingers, and hands for operating a computer, utilizing a telephone, writing and grasping.
