We are currently looking for a full-time Dietary Aide to work within our Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Community at The Wesleyan. Excellent customer service and a passion for ensuring a spectacular meal experience is had by others will be essential to your success as a Dietary Aide at The Wesleyan.

***This is a full-time position that requires availability for BOTH 11:00AM-7:30PM and 5:00AM-1:30PM on a rotating, varying day schedule***
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare drinks, salads, foods, and desserts and set them up as directed.
- Prepare dining room and trays for meals.
- Serve meals to residents in the dining room and/or rooms, and complete regular check-ins for seconds and substitutions.
- Complete general cleaning tasks that may include dishes, pots and pans, equipment, dining room, floors, tables, work areas, etc. and the proper disposal of trash.
- Count and post meal census.
- Put away groceries and supplies.
- Cross-train for all positions within the department, as assigned by the supervisor.
- Complete other job duties or tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef, Director of Dining Services, and/or the building Administrator.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior food service experience within a senior living, assisted living, or skilled nursing environment is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Excellent customer service is required along with the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- A service-minded approach to all aspects of the job is required.
- A passion for working within a senior living community is a plus!
