Boutique residential real estate firm seeks a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for our Griffin office. This staff member will perform a range of administrative and office support functions to support the efficient operation of the organization. This role is essential in shaping our firm's image with our clients, vendors and business partners. This team member is most often the first and last impression our clients see during the day of closing. Must be knowledgeable, responsive, helpful and courteous with clients and staff members in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is commensurate relative to experience, with full benefits and 401k.
RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staff the reception area every day from 9am-5pm (Mon-Fri)
- Be a hospitality host, greeting and caring for our clients while on-site
- Answer/direct incoming calls, proactively assisting clients where possible
- Handle client requests, following up with appropriate staff member(s)
- Route all incoming/outgoing mail, packages and deliveries
- Keep reception area, front lobby and conference rooms clean and stocked with office supplies, snacks and drinks (re-ordering as needed)
- Provide best-in-class service to our clients
- Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Assist with pre and post-closing duties
PRE-CLOSING & POST-CLOSING ASSISTANCE:
- Setup files & order title
- Request and obtain required buyer and seller information
- Assist with recording all necessary closing documents and processing disbursements in a timely manner
- Assist with issuing and mailing out applicable insurance policies & deeds to owner and lender
- Communicate accurately and punctually with all parties
- Provide follow up assistance as requested by clients
- Other projects or tasks, as requested
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent relationship building skills
- Comfortable using technology (Microsoft Outlook, real estate settlement software, file management software, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills, possessing a desire to work with our clients and staff in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner
- Excellent communication skills on the telephone, in person and via email
- Experience in residential and/or commercial real estate is preferred but not necessary
- Experience with real estate settlement software (e.g. SoftPro) is preferred but not necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28,000.00 - $32,500.00 per year
