About the Role
Wessler Engineering is seeking a qualified individual interested in a long-term career opportunity. This position is for an entry level Environmental Scientist to work in our Indianapolis, IN office.
Description:
Applicants will work on environmental compliance projects, prepare environmental reports and plans for municipalities and industries, and work closely with engineers to report on environmental impacts and acquire environmental permits for construction projects.
Applicants should have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, interpret and apply environmental regulations, have the ability to research, synthesize, and communicate new information quickly and communicate effectively with clients.
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to work in a challenging position which involves environmental permitting, pollution prevention planning, technical report writing, and field investigations.
Projects for our clients include a wide range of environmental services; including environmental impact research, NPDES permitting, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plans, Wellhead Protection Planning and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources or a related field.
0-2 years of related experience is preferred.
Applicants should possess public speaking, technical writing, and computer skills.
