JOB SUMMARY :
We are a fast-paced family office managing high-end residential facilities for a UHNW family. We are looking for a Director of Facilities Engineering to manage and align our engineering and facility initiatives in California, Hawaii, and other locations. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for steering the strategic direction of our organization's facilities department. This individual bridges the gap between executive management and MEP teams, ensuring that technical projects align with business objectives and are delivered efficiently. With a keen eye for innovation and a solid technical background, the Director of Facilities Engineering fosters an environment of continuous improvement and development. This position will play a critical role in talent acquisition, team building, and maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage and oversee all operations and aspects of the facilities department including the entire MEP lifecycle
- Develop and coordinate the facilities technical / sustainable strategy and projects across all properties from ideation to deployment, participate in planning at the start of new construction
- Research and implement innovative technologies to improve the department's success
- Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program using UpKeep reporting features
- Implement and refine technical practices, processes, and goals to increase efficiency and quality of work.
- Develop capital budgets and facilitate equipment and systems replacement as needed
- Build and foster business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage teams across all properties, including recruiting and developing talent to build a high performing team
- Establish and maintain a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the department and across departments to foster a cohesive and productive work environment
- Collaborate with upper management about important matters and any issues that may arise

Salary Range
225,000—$315,000 USD
