Growing private Family Office is looking for talented professionals to be a part of a dynamic team. JOB SUMMARY

The Front of House position will provide exceptional and anticipatory service in hospitality by collaborating with the culinary department to create a memorable and exceptional guest experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

Stocking & Inventory Management

  • Take full responsibility for stocking homes with groceries, ensuring all items align with family preferences and dietary needs.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including dishes, glasses, linens, and other essential items, keeping them organized and well-maintained.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishments in a timely manner.
  • Ensure kitchen and dining spaces are always fully equipped and guest-ready.

Dining & Service Preparation

  • Set and arrange tables daily with attention to detail and aesthetic presentation.
  • Collaborate with the chef team to ensure smooth meal service and dining experiences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, ensuring an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Support any special requests for dining setups, including formal and informal meals.

Travel & On-Site Support

  • Travel with the family between the mainland and Kauai, ensuring consistency in service across locations.
  • Adapt to different household setups, seamlessly managing kitchen and dining operations in various environments.
  • Work closely with the chef team to align on meal planning, service flow, and any changing needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, private service, or a similar front-of-house role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to inventory management.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for table settings, presentation, and service.
  • Ability to travel frequently and adjust to different locations and schedules.
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and the ability to work in a high-end private household setting.

Skills & Work Requirements:

  • Prior experience in hospitality, private service, or a similar front-of-house role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to inventory management.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for table settings, presentation, and service.
  • Ability to travel frequently and adjust to different locations and schedules.
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and the ability to work in a high-end private household setting.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food & beverage field, including, but not limited to, food safety protocols, food handling compliance/certifications, budgeting, inventory management, maintenance of equipment, staffing, etc.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and inventory systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, etc.
  • Must have an active CA driver's license
  • Proficient with Google Workspace
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, without restrictions

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Standing up and moving about the kitchen
  • Handling food, objects, products, and utensils
  • Bending, stooping, kneeling
  • May be required to work weekends, and/or Holidays

Salary Range
$43—$48 USD
