Clinical Simulation Assistant for EMT Program

• POSITION GOAL
• To assist the primary instructor with lab skill practice and competency testing for students enrolled in our EMT program to prepare for the NREMT program.
• LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum State EMT Licensure and State EMS Instructor;

SKILLS:

• Strong communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Organized, detail oriented;
• Competency in basic NREMT Skills;
• Self-motivated;
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

DUTIES:

• Assist primary instructor to allow students to obtain/learn the skills and knowledge to successfully complete the EMT program and prepare for the NREMT skills exam;
• Supervise and observe students during skills labs;
• Focus on student instruction;
• Assist students through observational and participative experiences in skills labs;
• Collaborate effectively with students and staff within the school district;
• Communicate appropriate information clearly and in a timely manner.
• CPR Healthcare Provider Certificate;
• Minimum of two years' experience as a licensed EMT;
• Valid Driver's License.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Hourly Rate
• Hours: Flexible in accordance with school calendar, and EMT program class hours
• Must pass background and reference checks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
