What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Supervisor position at West Bend Health and Rehab?
West Bend Health and Rehabilitation is a 45 bed facility located in the town of West Bend, IA. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility is looking for excellent candidates to help us in achieving the best care possible for our residents. Job Duties:
- Provides assistance to department personnel as necessary and makes rounds to ensure they perform their work assignments in accordance with standards.
- Communicates information to personnel regarding new resident admissions and resident discharges to ensure rooms are deep cleaned between admissions.
- Ensures that new employees are properly oriented and trained.
- Develops employee work assignments and schedules.
- Ensures that adequate stock levels of supplies and equipment are maintained.
Skills:
- Work experience in a health care setting.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
- Excellent organizational and team management skills.
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
