Responsibilities & Qualifications
Conduct physical surveys, investigate risk exposures/accidents, analyze risk experience and make recommendations to assist insureds in maintain their loss control programs. Review and process vendor surveys. Development of Loss Control resources. Consult with underwriters to determine account and risk acceptability. Provide verbal and written correspondence to underwriting.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact professionally with policyholders via phone, virtual and written communications
- Comfortable working independently
- 1 years of experience in a Loss Control Representative or safety related position
- Knowledge of MS Suite/computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Loss Control, Safety, Insurance or related field
- Associate in General Insurance designation
