Working under general supervision, maintain the majority of Personal Lines rates, rating algorithms, and rating rules on the system.

Are you a detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a passion for insurance and data-driven solutions? We're looking for a Personal Lines Rating Analyst to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our rating systems for Personal Lines products. In this role, you'll bridge business strategy with technical implementation—ensuring our rating structures align with both regulatory standards and market goals.
What You'll Do
Maintain and configure Personal Lines rating algorithms, rules, and rates.
Translate business intent from Actuarial and Product Management into rating system logic.
Propose rating solutions that consider system constraints and business goals.
Test new rates and algorithms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Prepare and summarize the impact of rate changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Underwriting, and Actuarial to resolve discrepancies.
Support rate changes by producing manual rate pages and communicating with external vendors.
Occasionally perform manual rate calculations to support testing and troubleshooting.
What We’re Looking For
1 year of experience configuring Personal Lines rates and algorithms.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and working with spreadsheets.
Experience in user acceptance testing and defining technical requirements.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Associate in General Insurance (AINS) designation.
