Job Summary
Summary of Responsibilities
Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units to track the organization's progress against financial goals. Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making. Analyzes key metrics from financial records including expenditures, revenue, depreciation, tax, and investments, to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls. Assists in the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, and tax filings. Assists with developing automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Preferred Experience and Skills
- 2-4 years of experience accounting or finance
- Knowledge of Excel
- Analytical abilities
- Knowledge of financial systems, ex. OneStream or Hyperion
Preferred Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPCU or other insurance designations
