West Branch Community Schools is accepting applications for the anticipated opening for the 2024-25 school year:
Nutrition Staff (full-time)
Qualifications for Nutrition Program
- Ability to work well with children from kindergarten to high school age
- Ability to work well with other adults respectfully and politely
- Ability to serve with both hands simultaneously
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (35 pounds unassisted)
- Ability to work in an environment with temperature extremes such as moving from hot kitchen to freezer or walk in cooler
- Ability to work at a fast pace calmly and efficiently during serving period
- Ability to be flexible and change activities as needed to accommodate changes in daily schedule
- Ability to read and follow directions and recipes
- Ability to cook or bake in quantity or willingness to be trained
