What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician position at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital?
Repairs all types of mechanical equipment using manufacturers blueprints, operation and service manuals, necessary measuring and testing devices. Performs repairs on steam, electrical, and heating and cooling systems. Keeps logs, records and orders all necessary parts and replacements. Requires little or no supervision.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency, Vocational Courses
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in building maintenance, capable of reading blueprints and specifications.
Special Requirements:
- Background in electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry and refrigeration
- In good physical condition.
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license.
- Acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by WCCH insurance carrier.
