RESPONSIBILITIES: The HAP Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the Housing Assistance Program Unit. The specialist will be the clerical and technical support through program inquiries from applicants, participants, owners, and the community. Responsible for understanding and following program regulations, policies, and procedures including assisting program staff with associated program requirements to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance workflow. Data entry and/or scanning of program information into the required system(s) of record. Create and maintain complete and accurate electronic files.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and possess the ability to use a variety of software applications including unit specific software. Ability to use basic office equipment (i.e., phone systems, copying machines, scanner/printers, and computers).

Be a positive team player with excellent people skills. Have the ability to communicate and work professionally

with all clients, co-workers, and the public with a positive attitude while motivating and inspiring others.

Ability to handle sensitive agency and participant information in a confidential manner.

High School Diploma or GED is required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service or related field.

DETAILS: Wage: $18 /hr. This is a full time position working 36 hours per week at the Appleton City, Mo. office.

Starting date: March 3, 2025. Months of experience required: 24. Application deadline: Open until position is filled. Grade: 4
