RESPONSIBILITIES: The MAC Community Coordinator is responsible for operating the MAC (Mobile Action Center) to connect with clients across the service area. This role requires strong community engagement skills, safe and skilled driving, and the ability to foster positive interactions with the public. The MAC Community Coordinator is instrumental in bringing agency resources directly to the communities we serve.
REQUIREMENTS: Must operate and drive the MAC to designated locations within the service area, meeting directly with clients to engage and gather information, conduct preliminary assessments, and connect them to available programs and services.
Must secure all necessary permits and collaborate with local community partners to identify and arrange mobile office locations.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and possess the ability to use a variety of software applications including unit specific software. Ability to use basic office equipment (i.e., phone systems, copying machines, scanner/printers, and computers).
Be a positive team player with excellent people skills. Have the ability to communicate and work professionally with all clients, co-workers, and the public with a positive attitude while motivating and inspiring others.
Ability to handle sensitive agency and participant information in a confidential manner.
High School Diploma or GED is required with one year of work experience in a related field. Valid Missouri driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance.
DETAILS: This is a full time position working 36 hours per week. Hourly wage: $20.69-$22.00. Starting date: Immediately. Application deadline: Open until position is filled. Grade: 5.
